The Island of Lost Links!
old, but still good news
Broken Glass <http://brokenglass.keenspace.com/>
A beautifuly graphic black and white comic revolveing around a boy named Angel of Misery. Magic, morals, mayhem, whores, drugs, and demons, Broken Glass is not so much about redemption, but reaching the state where you can accept redemption. Also Egos.

Biiiig egos.Gaming Gaurdians: <http://www.gamingguardians.com/>
I'd like to state I have NO idea where they're going right now, but that the same time, they are not in dnager of reciveing a WTF? Award. (Previosly know as  'Willow's award for fucked up plot line' Everything Jake was the first winner.)  This is a gaming comic, but it doesn't press the issue by making spesific game related jokes.
I enjoy the art, I love the storys and the characters and it will always remind me of a freind form highschool. Not because he introduced me to it, but because he was that kind of Gamer. If the Gaming Gaurdians were real, he'd have been wearing a silly jumpsuit ages ago!

Metanoia <http://metanoia.studiowhippingboy.com//>
This is not a nice comic. This is not a funny comic. This is not, strictly speaking, a pagan comic.
But ooooh boy is it a good comic. The art sends me into fits of inataquacy, the story is elegant, beautiful, and well scripted.
This should really be pimped on Songs of An Angel's Site, but that doesnt' have a place for it, so I must tell you about the awsomeness of it all. Oh the violence. Oh the story! Oh,I just don't know where to start!
Oh and there's boy love. But it's important to the story and it's not you know, sticky-slashy. It's cute and sweet, and then more violence.
I'm really really bad at this this week.

Oh My Gods! <http://ohmygods.timerift.net/>
This is a strange an irrevent strip
Yeah, look at who that's coming from. The art is simple, (but way harder than it looks!) which allows you to focus more on what's going on, and what they're saying. Which is pretty damn funny.
I think they may be funnier than I am.

The Suburban Jungle <http://www.suburbanjungle.com/>
One of my favorite furry comic, it has a nice balance with the question- in a world of anthropomorphic animals- what do the predators eat? Well, other animals, of course. *Grins* That was one of the things that drew me to it- though the art and the scripting didn’t hurt at all- being well rendered and a thoroughly amusing strip. Too often a really funny or good strip has not so nice graphics. Not so here. Both are equally worth seeing. My personal favorite is Dover, the cheetah computer programmer- but don’t let that stop you- every character has it’s own points. Go- read from the beginning!

Dominic Deegan, Oracle for hire <http://www.dominic-deegan.com/>

Every time I swear up and down that I'm not going to read anymore comics, something like this shows up.
This man uses puns like a deadly sword- his stylization in unobtrusive and the stories are entertaining. Dominic Deegan is swiftly climbing the charts to my personal top ten. (I also want to do a crossover with him. The characters would fit right in.)
The characters are led by Dominic Deegan, a shining beacon of talent and intelligence in a sea of abject stupidity. He is companioned first and foremost by his sarcastic and outspoken cat, Spark- who still loves him, even if he doesn't feel he gets fed enough. Next in his circle of friends is his little brother Gregory- how has an astounding gift for white magic, and Luna, the poor woman who fate has given a rather pronounced under bite, (okay, she has fangs) causing everyone who sees her to mock and call her an orc. Not a good idea, seeing as she's also an accomplished combat caster.
The opposing forces are the disastrous duo of nearly incompetent thieves, Stunt and Bumper- who never know when to quit, as well as the eldest Degan brother, Jacob, who may be overly gross, a necromancer in the worst possible way, probably messing about in the realm of god- but he does have really good hair. Go on. See for yourself.

Twelve Dragons <http://twelvedragons.keenspace.com/>
Not lighthearted in the least- aw, who am I kidding? A fantacy comic with a swashbuckler feel; there are shapeshifters, demons, dragons and all the stuff that people love. Includeing scantily clad giant girls with BIG knockers. But the action is good, the art work is incredible, and the use of color is entertaining. Beyond that- the mythos is well thought out, and kind of diffrent then anything I'd read before. If it was a novel, I'd shell out six bucks to read it in paperback. But only 'cuz I'm broke.

Cascade Failure <http://cascadefailure.keenspace.com/>
No vampires in this comic- yet.
Cascade Failure is a computer comic. Computers and College- how much more funny can it get?
What I like about this one is that it's more people humor oriented then gamer or computer in-joke oriented. I read a lot of gaming comics for someone who doesn't computer game, but I'm rather find of this one. It's well drawn, well scripted, and light hearted.

All Roses Have Thorns <http://allroses.keenspace.com/>
Another vampire comic. I’m sensing a pattern here. Mental note: pimp a non vampire link next week.  But this is quite amusing- an adorable sociopath, a sweet, much abused fathers with pretty green eyes, and of course, it’s vampires!
One thing, there is, at least at the beginning, a rather lot of cruel things happening to small children. I mean really nasty. Nasty bad and evil. I’m sure we get to see the perpetrators get theirs, so it’s okay, tho.
Another funny thing are the comments the author, the author’s friend, and the author’s friends foil make at the bottom of each page. Go on, form your own opinions- just know I like it!

Arcana
<http://arcana.keenspace.com/>
There's alot to love about Arcana. Pretty art, endearing characters, plots within plots.
A good solid world.
Oh and hot vampires did I mention that? Pretty boys with projective empathy. Skitsophrenic vampires. Harpys whose kingdom is tumbleing down around their ears. Newly made vampires in college. Pretty boy bands. Did I mention the vampires?
But when you come down to it,the scripting is good, thecomic is if slow, fairly well paced, the plot is involveing, and the art sucks you in and makes you want to scream that you aren't worthy.
G'wan. Have a look. You won't regret it.

Benny And Lissa <
http://bannyandlissa.tripod.com/>
So out of the blue yesterday, this kind gentleman writes me and asks about a link exchange.
...
I'd never heard of his comic, and that's saying alot. It turns out, it wasn't a comic, it's the continueing story of two misfits, who proceed to become more and more misfit like as the story unfolds.
I didn't get much done yesterday afternoon, I was busy reading it, one chapter at a time.
I'm hooked. It has a good plot, decent concept, and I think the romance between Banny and Lissa is one of the sweetest things I've seen recently. Go forth and read, people, go forth and read.

Von Van Hunter <http://www.pseudome.net/vvh/index.html>
Lighthearted, well drawn, I’m very glad I found it. This Manga-style comic is a little weak at the beginning, but amusing, and quickly evolves into something worth reading over and over again. If you like vampires, zombies, monsters, and above all people who go out of their way to hit them with sharp pointy sticks, you’ll like this comic.
But keep in mind, it is making fun of conventions. If you don’t have a sense of humor- how the heck did you find your way to this page anyway?

FOG CLUB http://fogclub.keenspace.com/
How cool is this comic? Oh
LET me count the ways.
The man who draws this loves Yu-gi-oh, and Powerangers(but only the good seasons) he's written his own movie, which is I think as good or BETTER than any of the movies they actually put out.
Also, when he misses an update, he doesn't miss it- he makes it up- at one point he was over a month behind, but in the archive there is a comic or art (and hardly any filler art) for every last day of the last two or so years.
The Characters are well developed, the action and plot is intriguing, I don't know if I could say everything that makes me read this comic.  I want to be him when I grow up. He's that good.
Read this comic. You won't regret it.
BACK TO MAIN
Suddenly, and without warning there was this total eclipse of the sun...
Well, no actualy, it was more of an 'oops'  I've been 'reviewing' (They call it reviewing, I call it plugging- I've never pointed to a comic and said 'this sucks and we all must mock it'.) And someone found out I'd done it and went to see the reveiw- but I'd changed plugs a month or so before. And I hadn't kept it! With my memory, I couldn't even remember what I'd said. So I decided that from now on, I'm archiveing them. As seen below...
Happy reading.
